The controller is established in the USA: your data are processed there and on the servers of the providers listed below.
What data we process
Those you enter in the “Start a project” form: your name, your email or phone number and what you need; if you tell us, also your brand or company, the details of the project (what you want to create, goals, features, content, timing, approximate budget and references), how you would like to talk, how you heard about us and who makes the decision. If you email us, your address and what you write.
With your request we also keep the language of the page and the campaign you came from (the link’s UTM parameters), if you arrived through a campaign link. If you accept analytics, also the page you landed on and the site that sent you, its domain only. If you tick the email box, we keep proof of your consent: the date, the text you accepted and the page.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and your browser’s technical data to serve the pages and protect them. When you send the form, it also uses your IP to limit the number of submissions and stop abuse. We do not store it with your request.
Why we use them and on what legal basis
- Answering your request and, if you ask for it, preparing and managing a proposal: the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or, if you write on behalf of a company, our legitimate interest in handling its request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 19 of the Spanish data protection act, LOPDGDD).
- Sending you Vetro’s case studies and guides by email, only if you tick the box: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 21 of the Spanish e-commerce act, LSSI), which you can withdraw from any of those emails or at hi@wearevetro.com.
- Knowing which campaigns and pages bring us requests: our legitimate interest in assessing our communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The landing page and the referring site are only kept if you accept analytics.
- Protecting the website and the form against abuse: our legitimate interest in keeping them secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Measuring visits and our campaigns, and showing you Vetro ads on other websites and apps: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in “Cookie settings”.
We do not make automated decisions that affect you, and we will not send you marketing messages without your consent.
How long
- If you do not become a client: 2 years from your last contact; we delete them within the following three months.
- If you become a client: while the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods the law requires, such as six years for contracts and invoices.
- Case study and guide emails, if you tick the box: until you withdraw your consent. After that we keep only the record that you gave and withdrew it, for as long as we may need to prove it.
- Visit statistics, if you accept measurement: Google Analytics deletes the data from your visit after 14 months, and only aggregate figures remain in its reports.
Deletion covers every copy: the studio’s panel, the form’s database, the email inbox and Brevo.
Recipients
Your data are processed on our behalf, as processors, by:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website, receives the form, stores the request and forwards us the email sent to hi@wearevetro.com.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): sends the replies we write to you from hi@wearevetro.com.
- Google: only if you accept analytics, measures visits with Google Analytics.
If you accept marketing cookies, Google may also use your visit for advertising, as a controller: we explain it in “Cookies and local storage”. Apart from that, we do not share your data with third parties.
The studio’s email is on Gmail, a Google service that runs under its own terms: that is where your messages and the notice of each request arrive.
If you choose to load the Spotify player in the showroom, Spotify AB (Sweden) receives your IP address and may use its cookies, under its own terms.
Cloudflare and Google may process data in the USA, with the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or of standard contractual clauses; Brevo processes them in the EU. You can ask for a copy of these safeguards at hi@wearevetro.com.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hi@wearevetro.com. We will look for your data everywhere it is kept: the studio’s panel, the form’s database, the email inbox and Brevo. If you believe we are not handling them properly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Cookies and local storage
This website stores in your browser what it needs to work, such as the language you choose and your choice about cookies. Only if you accept, it also uses Google cookies and two markers of its own to measure visits and our campaigns. The table in the cookie policy lists them all, with how long they last.
Only if you accept marketing cookies can Google use your visit to measure our ads and to show you Vetro ads on other websites and apps (remarketing). For that advertising use, Google acts as a controller, under its own policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time in “Cookie settings” or manage the ads you see in Google’s My Ad Center.
